Julie is Founder and CEO of B4 Secure Ltd and a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) with over 35 years’ experience. This has included service in the Royal Air Force and law enforcement during which she was awarded a Commissioner’s Highest Commendation for bravery before leaving at the rank of Detective Superintendent.

Julie has specialised in intelligence throughout her career and after leaving the Police in 2015 completed a MA in Intelligence and Security Studies. She has worked across many high-profile projects including establishing the operating practices and delivery of threat intelligence and analysis for the security of the UK COVID Vaccination Programme.

Established in 2016, B4 Secure Ltd is highly specialised in protecting individuals and organisations within the online space through their Digital Interrogation and Vigilance Services, providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of threat and risks, assisting in mitigating them. This service includes enhanced due diligence checks, and a comprehensive, but discreet, vulnerability scanning and threat monitoring service whereby clients receive enhanced protection from malicious online activities such as - doxing, stalking and identifiable data leading to ‘physical space’ threats.

Julie is dedicated to ensuring the professionalisation of the security industry and is Chair of the Security Institute and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals. She is also a committee and advisory group member for the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a specialist for security related matters and as an advocate for gender equality within business, sitting on the Women in Business Committee.
