Introduction to the CER Directive

The Critical Entities Resilience Directive was introduced on 16th January 2023. Member States have until 17th October 2024 to adopt the legislation and act in accordance with the guidelines laid out by the Directive.

This critical regulation elevates security standards across Europe, impacting a wide range of organisations. These threats include natural disasters, terrorist and cyber attacks, sabotage, and public health emergencies.

How does this impact businesses located outside the EU, and more importantly, how does this impact you?

As a critical entity, your supply chain, service providers, partners, and clients could be located or operating in the EU. Ensuring that your business is compliant with the CER Directive would not only help avoid penalties but also make you risk-resilient.
